Reversus: A Physics Investigation — Privacy

Without an account
The game keeps your progress and your own levels in your browser (local storage). It sends anonymous gameplay events (which case was opened or solved, how long it took) tagged with a random id made in your browser. They contain no name, e-mail or IP-based profile and are used only to balance the puzzles.
With an account
Signing in is optional. You can sign in with Google (accounts made earlier with Steam keep working). We store only:
- a random account id;
- the id the sign-in service gives us for you (a Google account id, not your Google address) — no e-mail, no password, no profile photo;
- the display name you choose yourself (optional);
- a copy of your progress and your own levels, so they follow you between devices;
- the levels you publish to the shared catalog, and your likes;
- a session token (as a one-way hash) kept in a cookie that only keeps you signed in.
Published levels are visible to every player together with your display name or an anonymous nickname. We do not sell or share data with anyone. Data is stored on Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1).
Deleting your data
Open the account window in the game (the button with your name at the top) and press Delete account. That immediately removes the account, every linked sign-in, the synced progress, your published levels and your likes. Data in your own browser can be removed by clearing the site data.
You can also ask us to delete everything by writing to the address below.
